This year's company holiday party took place at the Museum of Science and Industry. The firm rented out the entirety of the museum for the party and decked out every corner with festivities. With the boy in tow, we made our south of the city to the venue, arriving just as the party was really getting started.
Everything was beautifully planned and it really felt like the holidays. One of my favorite parts was that most of the museum's exhibits were open for us to explore during the party!
I was a little salty that dinner was a selection of meat, meat, bread rolls, and more meat. Which meant that dinner was, you guessed it, bread rolls. Joys of being a vegetarian sometimes. The bread rolls were complimented by a series of Belvedere Sprites (cranberry vodkas + white dresses = a no-go). For a recent college grad, the top-shelf open bar was like being a little kid in a candy store who was told they can buy anything they want. But quite frankly, there's no way 99% of the people there would have stuffed themselves in their best formalwear if it weren't for the open bar.
