I am finally all moved in! All of last week consisted of moving in, driving long distances, and shopping for apartment stuff. It was a long, tiring week. My apartment/condo doesn't have wifi yet either, which means I'm typing this up on my phone. Unfortunately, we won't be getting wifi until the end of this week.
In more important news, yesterday was the first football game of the year! Everyone in the Greek community is required to wear a common "Go Greek! Go Blue!" shirt for the first game to promote unity. This year, we got tanks and I am in love with them.
My sorority is tailgate partners with Delta Chi this year. This works great for me because their senior house, where the tailgate are held, is a few blocks from my apartment. Other things I live right next to? The Big House. Yes, I live about 6 blocks from the amazing Big House.
Being in the Big House is definitely a one-of-a-kind experience. Nothing compares to being in the student section amongst a hundred thousand people and cheering on your school. You definitely meet a lot of (drunk) interesting people.
I'm also excited for classes to start and for next week's game against Notre Dame! It's a night game, starting at 8 pm versus the typical noon or 3 pm kickoff. That's definitely going to guarantee a long day of tailgating!
